[Poetry] may make us from time to time a little aware of the deeper unnamed feelings which form the substratum of our being, to which we rarely penetrate; for our lives are mostly a constant evasion of ourselves. T.S.Eliot

Le donne, i cavallier, l’arme, gli amori ...
"Umanità" di Sara Bolzani e Nicola Zamboni
"For over twenty years Sara Bolzani (1976) and Nicola Zamboni (1943) have been working side by side on the monumental sculptural group entitled Humanity. Inspired by the triptych with the Battle of San Romano by Paolo Uccello, the work - life-size, in copper and terracotta - is an extraordinary allegory of life and ancient and modern times: alongside knights fighting on powerful steeds, founding nucleus of the whole, and to characters with an epic-chivalrous flavor, there are some actors of our day, marginalized, migrants, refugees, "waste lives" who, marching in silence, embody the horrors of war and the tragedy of migrations."
