We're setting sails for the way back home. These two weeks in Bibione have gone smoothly, without glitches. It's time to think about the coming winter and the challenges it will propose.

One last look

As we found it

We leave it. This morning sea and sky are gray again and melt into one thing far on the horizon. The sunny days came in between the beginning and the end. A cycle is closing.

On the edge

The strip of land that make up Bibione's long beach, ends with a tongue of sand where salt and sweet waters coming out of the lagoon behind it meet. Flat rippled sand dunes emerge during low tide phases. Brave people cross the remaining parts under water and reach the very end of the land. Braver ones do it with a bike.
