Beside readiness to use, the good point of carrying a smartphone always with you is that from time to time you have the chance to get unplanned and unexpected results, whatever its nominal quality is. The number of flawed shots grows tremendously high but it feels like having a old plastic toycam, a Holga, a Diana, always in your pocket. In the end, the exciting part of this game is being able to pull the best out of it and, believe me, in these cases PS and Gimp don't help so much.
[Poetry] may make us from time to time a little aware of the deeper unnamed feelings which form the substratum of our being, to which we rarely penetrate; for our lives are mostly a constant evasion of ourselves. T.S.Eliot

Microcosmos
Yes, I'm one of those who firmly believe that the World is fractal. But perhaps it's the whole Universe to have patterns infinitely repetitive. I first thought to call this post something like "Io" or "Europa" or as any other Jupiter's and Saturn's satellite. It would have been somehow misleading. The truth is that I found this immaginary world seen from the sky right on my balcony, after years of distraction and poor maintenance. Wierd!

Winter Frock - III
This is not the best time for taking a ride on a bicycle in the late hours of the day. So I limit myself to make a weekly ride on every Sunday morning, provided it's not raining hard nor snowing. With such weather parks are less frequented by people and it's easier to halt just the time for a snap when you find a nice set before your eyes. Who cares the training performance, the average speed, the target kilometers. What is mostly compelling to me is that innate instinct to fasten the brakes levers, pull the smartphone out of the bag under the saddle and take a picture.
