[Poetry] may make us from time to time a little aware of the deeper unnamed feelings which form the substratum of our being, to which we rarely penetrate; for our lives are mostly a constant evasion of ourselves. T.S.Eliot

For those about to ride ...
... we salute you!
I have waited till today, a splendid and sunny Sunday morning, before dusting off my mountain-bike and opening the season with a small tour around the ThalerSee area, not far from where I am. Few kilometers north from here here so much snow that I couldn't afford a ride along the Mur. So I cautiously opted for a smaller circuit. After more than a couple of months of inactivity, I was feeling a little fearful and undecided whether to start with running or cycling. The decision is still pending. The hour and half spent on the bike was worth.

Time to go home
I don't remember having ever been on top of the Schlossberg night time. I must have seen a couple of sunset from there, may e more, but I've always watched the Uhrturm, the bell tower illuminated and standing against the dark sky from below. Eventually, yesterday I went up for a dinner with colleagues at the restaurant on top of the hill and on the way back I could enjoy a nice walk along the endless staircase that begins nearby the tower.

The Serpentine
That Life is made to let you lose time and energies is well known. That men do all the best to complicate it, is another story. Still, sometimes, complications have their beauty.
